AASHTO’s Duty of Care Statement for Returning to In Person Meetings
The health and safety of AASHTO meeting attendees and employees is a top priority. As AASHTO prepares for a return to in-person meetings, we will be monitoring CDC guidance and following recommended COVID-19 protocols and onsite precautions. As new developments arise over the coming months, our approach will adapt and we will keep the community informed of any changes. Onsite health and safety measures and requirements for in-person attendance will be communicated at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the event. By registering to attend AASHTO Event as an in-person attendee, you are consenting to comply with health and safety protocols published by AASHTO, and/or local health officials.
AASHTO Cancellation Policy for Meeting Registration Regarding COVID-19
Any attendee who had planned to attend an AASHTO Meeting but can no longer do so due to travel restrictions imposed by the United States government or their home country is eligible to receive a full refund and can do so by contacting AASHTO’s Director of Meetings and Member Services, Monica Russell. For those who have registered but cancel due to personal concerns about traveling or institutional / employer restrictions, the standard cancellation refund policy remains in place.
If you are scheduled to present in any session and are unable to attend, please contact the assigned meeting planner.
AASHTO’s standard meeting cancellation policy is in effect. Should the situation change, we will issue an update on this page and adjust our cancellation policy, if appropriate. If you have specific concerns, contact Monica Russell, AASHTO’s Director of Meetings & Member Services.
